Most battery brands buy their cells from someone else. BYD is one of the few home-battery makers that controls almost every step of the process in-house, from raw materials to the finished battery on your wall. Tap each step to follow the chain.

Grow it later.
Each HVM module holds 2.76 kWh. Modules plug straight into each other with no internal cabling, four to eight per tower. You can add up to three towers side by side, and add modules or towers later.
Example only. We base this on 12 kWh from sunset to sunrise, which is common for a Queensland family home. Your proposal is sized from your actual bills and matched to your inverter.

Paired with a Fronius GEN24 Plus and a backup switch, BYD Battery-Box keeps your home running through an outage. When the grid drops out, the system disconnects from it and switches your home to battery automatically, and your solar keeps recharging it through the day.
Backup needs a Fronius GEN24 Plus inverter and a backup switch. Your proposal shows whether your system backs up the whole home or selected essential circuits.

Cobalt-free LFP chemistry
Lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells are known for their thermal stability and long life, and the battery is certified to strict safety standards including VDE 2510-50 and IEC 62619.

Modules connect in series to a high DC voltage, which keeps losses low and efficiency high (96% or better round-trip), with plenty of power for backup.
