Both batteries use the same Fronius engineering and plug into the same GEN24 Plus inverter. The difference is how much storage and power your home needs. Tap one to build it below.

Battery modules stack on a base with the battery management system on top. Add modules to a tower, or add more identical towers side by side as your needs grow.
Example only. We base this on 12 kWh from sunset to sunrise, which is common for a Queensland family home. Your proposal is sized from your actual bills and matched to your inverter.

Your battery takes over.
With the Fronius Backup Controller and Backup Switch, your GEN24 Plus and Reserva switch your home to battery power automatically when the grid fails. Reserva Pro can even black-start the system by itself, and your solar keeps recharging the battery through the day.
Backup needs a Fronius GEN24 Plus inverter with the Fronius Backup Controller and Backup Switch. Your proposal shows whether your system backs up the whole home or selected essential circuits.

Reserva is built by Fronius specifically for its own hybrid inverters, so there's no guesswork about compatibility, firmware or who's responsible if something needs attention.
DC-coupled for efficiency
Solar power flows from your panels into the battery on the DC side, without extra conversions. Less energy is lost between the roof and the battery, so more of your solar ends up stored.
Safe LFP chemistry
Both models use lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells and are certified to IEC 62619, which includes a thermal runaway test, and VDE 2510-50.
Built to grow
Start with the storage you need now, then add modules or identical towers later. Up to four towers can run in parallel.
