Each SBH module holds 5 kWh. Modules plug straight into each other with no cables between them, four to eight per tower, and up to four towers can run in parallel for as much as 160 kWh.

The grid goes down.
Your battery takes over.
Sungrow hybrid inverters have a built-in backup port. When the grid drops out, your home switches to the SBH battery automatically, and your solar keeps recharging it through the day so you can ride out long outages.
Backup runs through your Sungrow hybrid inverter's backup port. Your proposal shows whether your system backs up the whole home or selected essential circuits.

Serious power for big homes
Up to 50 A of continuous charge and discharge current means the SBH400 can deliver more than 28 kW. That's enough to run air-con, pool pumps and EV charging at the same time.
Safe LFP chemistry
Lithium iron phosphate (LFP) prismatic cells are known for thermal stability and long life, and the battery is certified to IEC 62619, VDE 2510-50 and IEC 63056.
Layered protection
Built-in protection against over- and under-voltage, over-current and over- and under-temperature, plus a DC breaker on every battery.

Start with four modules and add more later, or add towers in parallel. Up to four towers can work together for as much as 160 kWh.
